Park Rules

Welcome to Parc SPIROU Provence! For the enjoyment and safety of every visitor, it is essential to follow the park rules set out in these regulations.

For your safety and to ensure you have a wonderful stay at the Park, we ask you to follow these rules:

TITLE I – GENERAL PROVISIONS

I.ARTICLE 1 – SCOPE

Entering the Park, as a group or an individual, implies full and unreserved acceptance of all the provisions in these internal regulations.

In the event of non-compliance with one or more of these rules, Management is entitled to ask the offender to leave the Park immediately, without compensation.

Furthermore, Parc SPIROU Provence® declines all responsibility for any damage to property or injury to persons resulting from a failure to follow these regulations.

I.ARTICLE 2 – IMPLEMENTING THESE REGULATIONS

The implementation of these regulations is ensured by authorized staff. In case of non-compliance, particularly when safety is at risk, Parc SPIROU Provence® staff may decide to remove the offender(s) from the premises.

I.ARTICLE 3 – LEGAL ACTION

If necessary, Park Management reserves the right to take legal action against any offender.

TITLE II – GUIDELINES FOR GUESTS

II.ARTICLE 1 – GETTING AROUND

Inside the Park, guests are asked to stay strictly on the public paths.

In this regard, guests are specifically asked to respect access restrictions to:

To areas protected by a fence, barrier, chain, door, or any other protection indicating a non-public area, or marked 'restricted' or 'private'.
To service areas, even if they have been left open temporarily.
To attractions and their perimeters that are closed to the public.
To emergency exits and fire access points, which must remain accessible at all times.

Additionally, for safety reasons, guests are asked to leave the attraction unloading platforms as quickly as possible.

II.ARTICLE 2 – MOBILITY EQUIPMENT

Unless a medical certificate is provided, roller skates, bicycles, scooters, and any other transport devices, motorized or not, are prohibited inside the Park.

II.ARTICLE 3 – EXIT AND RE-ENTRY

If you wish to leave the Park and return later the same day, please see a staff member before exiting (at the entry turnstiles) to ensure you have everything needed for re-entry (tickets, stamps, etc.).

II.ARTICLE 4 – CHILDREN

The Management of Parc SPIROU Provence® strongly encourages parents not to leave children under fourteen without adult supervision. Otherwise, Parc SPIROU Provence® cannot be held liable.

During family or group visits, children remain under the care of their parents and guardians, who are asked to provide constant supervision.

II.ARTICLE 5 – SECURITY SCREENING

Depending on the circumstances and in response to requests from public authorities, the Management of Parc SPIROU Provence® reserves the right to organize checks of visitors' bags and personal belongings to maintain the highest level of safety.

These checks are carried out at the Park entrance before the ticket booths; for your safety and that of others, please cooperate with these procedures.

Please note that it is forbidden to bring the following into the Parks:

Illicit or dangerous substances, alcoholic beverages, glass bottles, dangerous objects (including all offensive or defensive weapons of any category), and any toy or item resembling a firearm (e.g., laser pistols, water guns, etc.) that could endanger guest safety.
Items likely to disturb the peace of our guests (vuvuzelas, megaphones, air horns).
Telescopic poles for cameras or mobile phones, notably used for selfies.
Recreational items such as drones or any other remote-controlled toys.
Any item that Parc SPIROU Provence® deems inappropriate or disruptive.

Staff members in charge of security checks are authorized to seize or hold the items in question.

II.ARTICLE 6 – BULKY ITEMS

Bulky or cumbersome items, including luggage and suitcases (inclusive of pockets, wheels, and handles), are not permitted inside the Park. We recommend visiting without these items. Except for designated lockers or specific areas, Parc SPIROU Provence® employees are not authorized to look after your belongings.

Strollers are more than welcome!

However, for safety reasons, access to certain attractions may be refused even if items comply with these rules. For example, while strollers are allowed, they must always be left outside the attractions.

II.ARTICLE 7 – GUEST ATTIRE AND BEHAVIOR

Guests are asked to maintain appropriate attire throughout their stay; notably, they must refrain from walking barefoot or shirtless and, generally, from any clothing or behavior that offends public decency or morals.

We also reserve the right, at our discretion and at any time, to refuse entry or escort out any person wearing clothing, makeup, or tattoos that could offend our younger guests or families. Parc SPIROU Provence® considers such items inappropriate if they might encourage interaction with other guests or cause confusion by imitating costumed characters. Accessories that could impact safety on our attractions (capes, sticks, scarves, hats, etc.) are prohibited.

For safety reasons, wearing an outfit that completely covers the face is prohibited, except for medical reasons. Costumes and masks are prohibited for guests aged 12 and over. When worn by children under this age, masks must allow clear peripheral vision and keep the eyes fully visible.

Park entry may be refused for failure to comply with these dress code requirements.

During special private events, specific rules may apply. Please check the information dedicated to these events.

Furthermore, guests agree not to disturb the peace of others with hostile, excessive, or ostentatious behavior. Park staff will oversee this, potentially at the request of guests.

As such, guests must:

Follow all instructions and directions given by our ride operators.
No jumping the queue, please,
No smoking or vaping in queues, show venues, restaurants, shops, or any other indoor spaces.
Please respect our beautiful scenery, trees, shrubs, lawns, and equipment, as well as your fellow visitors!
Please do not use radios or other sound equipment or instruments,
Please place litter in the bins and cigarette butts in the provided ashtrays,
Please do not use mobile phones while on the attractions,
No filming on attractions (mobile phones)
No commercial activities of any kind are permitted.
Please do not attempt to take responsibility for a child on an attraction if they do not meet the height requirement.
Please do not bring alcoholic beverages into Parc Spirou; alcohol consumption is restricted in our family-oriented park.

II.ARTICLE 8 – ANIMALS

Animals are not permitted in the Park, except for guide dogs for the visually impaired. However, these animals are not allowed on attractions (Article 750 of the Civil Code §2).

TITLE III – ATTRACTIONS AND SHOW VENUES

III. ARTICLE 1 – WARNINGS

The Management of Parc SPIROU Provence® draws guests' attention to the safety warnings at the entrance of each attraction, shown by captioned pictograms. We invite you to check that the attraction is suitable for you! Additionally, for safety reasons, guests are not allowed to wait near attraction exits. In the event of non-compliance with these instructions, Management declines all responsibility, particularly in the case of direct or indirect personal injury or property damage.

Generally speaking, Parc SPIROU Provence® attractions are strongly discouraged for anyone in poor health or with medical conditions that could be aggravated by the thrills they provide.

Restrictions based on health and safety reasons are for your protection and do not constitute discrimination.

III. ARTICLE 2 – ACCESS TO ATTRACTIONS

For safety reasons, access to certain attractions is subject to specific conditions displayed at each entrance and available on the park's website.

2.1 Height Requirements

• Some attractions have a minimum height requirement, which is checked with a measuring rod at the start of the queue.

• Some attractions designed for children have a maximum height limit.

• These safety conditions are clearly posted on signs at the entrance of each relevant attraction.

2.2 Physical Requirements

• Some attractions are equipped with restraint systems (harnesses, lap bars, seat belts) with dimensions set by the manufacturer. For a safe adventure, you must be able to properly secure your seat's restraint system.

• A test seat is available at the entrance of certain attractions. We encourage you to try it out before joining the queue! If the test seat cannot be secured correctly, access to the attraction cannot be granted.

• Attractions with specific size constraints include: The Smurfs and the Magic Grimoire, Fantasio Rodeo, Zombillénium Tower, Rasengan Chakra Rotation, Kyûbi Unchained, The Marsupilamis' Nest, Spirou Racing, Crash Blork as well as any attraction where the entrance sign mentions a size restriction.

2.3 Medical Conditions

• Certain attractions are not recommended for guests with heart problems, high blood pressure, back or neck issues, epilepsy, claustrophobia, or high sensitivity to motion.

• Access is not permitted for expectant mothers on designated attractions.

• If you have any doubts about your health, please consult a doctor before your visit and let our teams know about your situation.

2.4 Handling Access Refusals

• If access conditions are not met, our operators are authorized to decline entry to an attraction. This decision is always made for the safety and well-being of every guest.

• Any refusal of access is communicated discreetly and kindly. No medical or personal justifications will be requested from the guest.

• In the event of a dispute, guests are invited to visit the park's main reception desk.

In line with current regulations, Parc Spirou Provence is committed to non-discrimination. Access restrictions are based exclusively on safety criteria defined by the attraction manufacturers.

III. ARTICLE 3 – ACCESS FOR EXPECTANT MOTHERS AND GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES

Expectant mothers, guests with permanent or temporary disabilities, and anyone entitled to priority access are kindly asked to check the risks and entry requirements at our Guest Services or on our website before arriving.

III. ARTICLE 4 – PHOTOSENSITIVE GUESTS

Attractions that may use lighting effects like flashing strobe lights can affect photosensitive guests and should be avoided.

III. ARTICLE 5 – CLOSURES AND DELAYED OPENINGS

Some of our restaurants, attractions, shows, shops, and facilities are seasonal and may experience delayed openings or closures for maintenance, due to unfavorable weather (storms, heavy rain, snow, high winds…) or insufficient safety conditions. Visitors are informed that these closures may occur without notice. The closure of one or more attractions and shows, for any reason whatsoever, does not entitle visitors to any compensation.

III. ARTICLE 6 – VIDEO SURVEILLANCE

In accordance with Decree No. 96-926 of October 17, 1996, regarding video surveillance, the Management of Parc SPIROU Provence® informs our guests that they are being filmed by a video surveillance system for their safety.

Parc SPIROU Provence® is responsible for managing the security system, in accordance with all current legal and regulatory requirements.

Information and access to footage can be requested from the Director of Safety and Security.

TITLE IV – MISCELLANEOUS

IV.ARTICLE 1 – PARKING

The parking area provided near the Park is under the exclusive responsibility of the Municipality of Monteux regarding both organization and management. Parc SPIROU Provence® therefore declines all responsibility for it.

IV.ARTICLE 2 – PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Keep a close eye on your personal belongings, such as clothes, bags, glasses, and cameras! Parc SPIROU Provence® cannot be held responsible if anything goes missing or gets damaged during your visit.

Paid lockers are available for all our guests right at the Park entrance! However, please note that Parc SPIROU Provence® cannot be held responsible for any damage or theft of items or valuables unless they were specifically declared and identified when you dropped them off.

IV. ARTICLE 3 – ABANDONED ITEMS

Parc SPIROU Provence® reserves the right to handle any abandoned items in the best way possible, working with the local authorities. If you've lost something during your adventure, hop over to the reception desk at the park entrance!

IV. ARTICLE 4 – IMAGE RIGHTS IN THE PARK

By entering the park (whether with a free or paid ticket), every visitor agrees to waive their image rights for any photos or videos taken during their visit where they might appear as part of the crowd. This means no claims can be made against Parc Spirou regarding the use of these images.

If you would prefer not to be filmed or photographed, please let the photographer or cameraman know!

IV. ARTICLE 5 – OPENING HOURS

Park opening and closing times are provided as a guide. Depending on the situation, the Park Management reserves the right to change them, especially to keep our visitors and the Parc SPIROU Provence® team safe and sound!

PART V – SPECIAL SITUATIONS

New rules may be added to these regulations at any time and must be followed to keep the adventure safe for everyone!

Example: During the COVID-19 period, wearing a mask is mandatory throughout the park.
